Elk Grove Parking Space Fight
I’m Ed Smith, an Elk Grove personal injury lawyer. Two parties were involved in an altercation over a parking space in Elk Grove during the evening hours of Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Unfortunately, this incident led to a stabbing injury to one of the parties.
A motorist was traveling in Elk Grove with an adult passenger in the front seat of the vehicle. There were three children riding in the back seats. The motorist pulled into a parking space in the vicinity of Sheldon Road and East Stockton Boulevard in Elk Grove. Shortly thereafter, the unthinkable took place.
Fight Over Parking Space Leads to Stabbing
The motorist was approached by another driver who wanted the same parking place and an argument ensued . Both parties allegedly engaged in a mutual physical altercation. An adult passenger riding in one of the cars allegedly became involved and a stabbing took place.
Authorities Detain Stabbing Suspect
Officers from the Elk Grove Police Department arrived at the scene of the incident. Authorities were able to recover the knife that was used in the physical altercation and later detained a participant to the incident. She was booked into the county jail and was held on a $60,000 bail.
