What Will Come of the Sleep Train Arena in Natomas?
I’m Ed Smith, a Natomas Auto Accident Attorney. Now that the new stadium for the Kings will be moved downtown many people are wondering what will become of the Sleep train arena in Natomas. The Natomas arena has been a part of the community for more than 30 years. The events at the arena have fueled the local business and restaurants in the area and helped the community grow. So naturally there is a concern as to what will be replacing the arena. There have been many speculations from auto malls to tech companies but as of now nothing has been decided upon. The last update from the City and the arena owners was back in December and at that point they were still in the process of formulating ideas for the site. So for now, we will just have to wait and see what will replace the arena and hope that it will be just as beneficial to the Natomas community as the original Kings arena was for over 30 years. We will miss the Sleep Train Arena.
