Six Injured in North Highlands Crash 

Six people, ranging in age from teenagers to 50 years old, were seriously injured on Friday, January 22, 2016, according to Sacramento Metro Fire.

What Happened?

A two-car motor vehicle accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on wet and slick roads. The victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. At least two of the victims sustained moderate injuries. While four others received severe injuries.

What was the location of the accident?

The accident happened in North Highlands at Peacekeeper Way and Watt Avenue intersect.

What caused the accident?

No information as to the cause of this accident has been released. We don’t know if speed played a role in the collision or if anyone was driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The accident is under investigation.
