FILING A CLAIM AGAINST A HIT-AND-RUN MOTORIST

CONTACT AN EXPERIENCED AUTO ACCIDENT ATTORNEY RIGHT AWAY

Hello.  I’m Ed Smith, a  Rio Linda Auto Accident Lawyer.  I have been handling automobile accidents involving bicyclists and  wrongful death cases for the past thirty years.

If you or your loved one has been seriously injured or killed due to the negligent act of another individual, please call me right away at (916) 921-6400.  Call me toll free at (800) 404-5400 if you are calling outside of Sacramento.

When you call, I will go over all the details of your accident case with you.  I will provide you with free, friendly advice at no obligation to you.

A seasoned accident attorney will determine if the injured or deceased bicyclist has uninsured motorist coverage on an auto policy of insurance. If so, a claim may be able to be made against the bicyclist’s own auto policy for losses sustained in the accident.

WHAT IF THE INJURED BICYCLIST DOES NOT OWN A CAR?

Even if the bicyclist does not own a car, he or she may still be able to recover. If the injured bicyclist lives has auto insurance with uninsured motorist coverage or lives with a relative who has uninsured motorist coverage on a car, then a claim for losses may be allowable against that policy.
