On Thursday, September 24, 2015 at approximately 7:30 p.m., a car being driven on the Capital City Freeway at El Camino Avenue struck an on-ramp metering light. Three of the four occupants in the car were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle by the fire department. Rights of Passengers in Auto Accidents
Passengers riding in a car with a driver who acted negligently and causing the crash may recover from the driver’s liability policy of insurance. Injured passengers may make a claim against their own Underinsured Motorist insurance if the driver of the vehicle they were travelling with does not have enough insurance coverage.
