Farmers Market

Do you love shopping for local produce? The Pittsburg Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from May through October. The Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association (PCFMA) is a non-profit organization that operates the Pittsburg Farmers’ Market and also controls several farmers markets throughout the Bay Area. The mission of the PCFMA is to encourage local ranchers and farmers to provide members of their community with access to healthier foods and to be successful in their community. Come out and shop at the last few weeks of the Farmers’ Market. It’s good to enjoy local produce from the city of Pittsburg.

Off the Grid

Do you enjoy foods from Off the Grid? Off the Grid brings street food vendors together in a community gathering event to reconnect friends and family with one another. The food truck events have become a Bay Area icon and is well-known for its unique cultural experiences and food. Join us for the food truck event in Pittsburg to enjoy delicious local foods.

When: Every Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Halloween Community Events

It is that time of year again. Figure out your family costumes and come on out for some spooky and creepy Halloween fun. Let’s attend Pittsburg’s Halloween community events with friends and family.

Halloween Bash and Pumpkin Patch

The Small World Park is hosting a Halloween bash and Pumpkin Patch event for all ages. The event allows children to trick or treat in a fun and safe environment. There will be live music, pony rides, magic shows and a costume parade that starts at 2:00 pm. The special presentation is brought to you by the Pittsburg Community Theatre. Food and beverages are available for purchase at the event. All rides are free and children will take home a free plastic jack o’latern pail.

When: Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Where: 2573 Harbor Street, Pittsburg, CA 94565

Admission: $4 for adults, $2 for children ages $10 and under and free for those that bring canned goods.

Trunk or Treat

The John Buckley Square is partnering together with the city of Pittsburg and Edgewater Church to host its Trunk or Treat event. Volunteers for the event will be decorating their vehicles and serving candy to those who attend. There will be pumpkin decorating, face painting, live music and carnival games for all to enjoy. This event is a favorite for children. Hope to see you and your little goblins on Trunk or Treat night!

When: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
